EcoThermo technology at the service of wood cladded chalets construction
The EcoThermo technology developed by Sivalbp is used to protect exterior wood cladding for the building of wooden chalets. The EcoThermo technology is very eco-friendly and uses no chemical additive, nor petroleum-based products. This technology addresses the needs of building in the mountains, where temperature changes are drastic and the wood boards endure severe weather conditions. Thanks to this ecological technology and to solvent-free, non toxic saturators, the wood cladding boards are protected durably and keep their aesthetic as time goes by.
Meticulous choice of wood to build mountain chalets with wood cladding
For ecological reasons, Sivalbp only selects wood species coming from sustainably managed forests that are PEFC or FSC® certified. To address the needs of mountain buildings, only slow-growing wood species that have good stability in time are selected.
